MAC Inc., Area Agency on Aging, will host its 15th annual “Soles For Seniors” fundraiser at the Centre At Salisbury on Wednesday, September 17, 2014
This year’s special attraction features local singers/musicians the “Jones Boys Duo” as the “After Party” entertainment. Mike Lichniak, Meteorologist from WBOC-TV will serve as the event’s Honorary Chairman and will be on site for the event.
Advance Registration is $25.00 per person or a team of four walkers for $95. This includes a commemorative T-shirt. Registration the day of the event is $30 per person.
Check-in for the one-mile walk is 9:30 a.m. at the Mall’s Food Court. Vendors will be stationed near Dicks’ Sporting Goods from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.; the walk takes place from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.; the “After Party” kicks off at 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Funds raised from this annual fundraiser support MAC’s Senior Emergency Fund, helping seniors with the high cost of hearing aids, dentures and glasses – items not normally covered by insurance. This year’s goal is to raise $25,000.
