Loving to make people laugh has always given him a sense of joy, so naturally, a journey in comedy was inevitable. Mike began his comedy journey in 2009 when he enrolled in the “comedy Academy” at Helium Comedy Club Club in Philadelphia, PA with the conclusion of the class Mike performed and his addiction to the stage took hold. Always looking for ways to expand and sharpen his craft, Mike performed regularly at local comedy clubs like Helium, Comedy Cabaret, and the Laff House. In 2011, he was busy coming in Second Place at the Comedy Cabaret “Comedy Classics” Competition and winning the Laff House Comedy Club Competition.

An immigrant with a traditional Asian background and an Ivy League education, stand up comedy is probably the last thing people would have predicted for Bill Chiang. In fact, he doesn’t even believe where he has landed. During the day, this Princeton educated scientist works in the high tech industry while at night, he is perfecting and performing his comedy set, and has become a favorite act up and down the East Coast. On stage, Bill goes against the traditional Asian stereotype by making people laugh with him at the absurdity & silliness of everyday life. He has unique views on relationships, TV and stories about growing up as an Asian Immigrant in NYC.
Bill is a Comedy Competition Winner in NYC, he has been featured on Comcast On-Demand and performs regularly in historic comedy venues such as The New York Comedy Club, The Comic Strip, Catch A Rising Star and The Comedy Cabaret in Philadelphia.

His honest take on life and it’s changes over the last 50 years are not only jaw dropping funny, but eye opening as well.

He performs at Comedy Clubs across the country and has appeared on Television and in Movies. He was a winner in the Howard Stern “Kill or Be Killed” Comedy Competition and was the Philadelphia Regional winner in the Sierra Mist Next Great Comic Comedy Competition. Keith has had appearances on Last Comic Standing and is gaining the reputation as the next rising star. So watch out America, he’s coming your way….be prepared….he’s armed with Laffs!
