Providing opportunities to explore, learn and make through imagination
and design.

SALISBURY, MD, August 9th, 2021- Local start-up 3D Printing Gear LLP will donate a brand new 3D printer (Adventurer 3), tool kit and multiple spools of filament to the staff and children of the Newton Community Center. The 3D Printer will allow students to create models, structures and other designs that they then can 3D print and take home. Through working with the 3D printer, community center attendees will engage in multiple learning methodologies such as visual and spacial recognition, design and problem solving.

“We are looking to help bring this educational tool to as many kids and their families as possible. Non-traditional educational outreach facilities such as The Newton Community Center are the perfect venue to provide such opportunity and engagement. Recognizing this, we wanted to help and make this happen.”

Staff will be trained through 3DPG on the functionality of the 3D printer, necessary software and how they can help their visitors with developing their own unique designs and prints. 3D printing is becoming an essential component to many different industries and occupations from medicine, architecture, robotics, aerospace engineering, and armed forces to entertainment, fashion, art and even sports.

3D Printing Gear LLP provides essential 3D printing equipment, educational training and technical support. Our goal is to provide resources to help foster exposure, growth and development within the 3D printing community and provide opportunity for others to learn and participate as well.
