Salisbury, MD – See art, go shopping and learn about 3rd Friday updates at this month’s 3rd Friday event, featuring a theme of “March Mingle.”
Third Friday is a free arts event held in Downtown Salisbury on the third Friday of each month from 5-8 p.m. March’s event is the last indoor 3rd Friday before the outdoor season begins in April.
Third Friday is requiring free registration for 2024, and registration links for vendors, community groups, performers and volunteers are available at 3rdfridaysby.com. The Arts, Business and Culture Department will also host an informational session about the 2024 3rd Friday season, themes and updates during the March 3rd Friday. This March Mingle will be held from 6-7 p.m., and staff will offer sign-up assistance in the Salisbury City Council Chambers at the Salisbury Headquarters, located at 115 S. Division St.
The Salisbury Art Space will host a 3rd Friday reception for “Getting Green 2” from 5-7 p.m. The Salisbury University Art Galleries’ Downtown Gallery will offer a Spring Event for 3rd Friday from 5-7 p.m., featuring the “Flight or Fight” exhibition, an art sale, live music from Hugh Ellis Bennett and lite fare.
Tri Community Mediation will be open from 5-8 p.m. for 3rd Friday with light refreshments and guest artists. People can also learn about mediation.
Kaiju Records will offer 20% off metal, punk and hard rock records. At Blackwater Apothecary, people can book an appointment or walk in for a tarot reading with Gail from 3-6 p.m. Board and Brush will have a public Pick Your Project workshop for ages 16 and up from 6-9 p.m.; preregistration is required at www.boardandbrush.com.
