Brent Miller, CCIM, CPM, Executive Managing Director of SVN-Miller Commercial Real Estate is pleased to announce the addition of Valerie Whitcomb, Ph.D. to the team. She will be working as an Advisor and Business Broker and teaming up with Advisor Ed Rommel. Valerie is a full-time academic program designer at Salisbury University and also runs Global Training Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to providing micro-entrepreneurship training to transitioning and disabled veterans and their spouses.
Valerie will focus on the sale and acquisition of businesses when real estate owners operate a business on premise. She has extensive experience providing management consulting on exit strategies, growth initiatives and diversification of revenue for organizations of various types. Valerie has a Bachelors and Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Ph.D. in Applied Management and Decision Sciences.
