Gillis Gilkerson, one of the most stable and trusted construction management and general contracting firms on Delmarva, announced progress on renovations to the Regency Place Condominium Natatorium at 4400 Coastal Highway in Ocean City, Maryland.
“Our team is working diligently to meet the 90 day deadline for the new pool enclosure,” said Dwight Miller, president, Gillis Gilkerson. “We are looking forward to completion of the project for incoming residents in plenty of time for Ocean City’s 2018 summer season.”
Gillis Gilkerson was hired to replace the existing pool enclosure with a new one that will include structural steel on the existing concrete slab. The structure will be metal framed and have a new aluminum storefront system, standing seam metal roof, aluminum railing, metal liner panel ceiling inside with new lighting and ceiling fans.
“The demolition went smoothly,” said Brett Staley, managing agent for the Regency Condo Association. “The Gillis Gilkerson team has been great at communicating with us and is proving to be very timely with the project. We have been moving for two months now with the shell structure up and are shooting for completion by the middle of May.”
According to project manager Tyler Barnes and superintendent Charlie Morris, the pool structure will be completed by mid-May.
