USDA Seeks Community Connect Grant Applications

Community Connect grants help fund broadband deployment into rural communities where it is not yet economically viable for private sector providers to deliver service. Priority is given to rural areas that demonstrate the greatest need for broadband services.
FY 2018 awards range from a minimum of $100,000 to a maximum of $3,000,000 per application. Applicants must provide a 15% match. Eligible applicants include state and local governments, federally-recognized tribes, nonprofits, and for-profit corporations.
Applications will be accepted through May 14, 2018. To learn more about this grant opportunity, see page 11494 of the March 15 Federal Register, visit the Community Connect webpage, or participate in an upcoming webinar.
