WHAT: Tanger Outlets Ocean City is excited to announce that 2 schools in Worcester County have been named this year’s recipients of a TangerKIDS Grant! A total of 35 grant applications were submitted from schools in Worcester, Wicomico, and Sussex Counties! In keeping with Tanger Outlets’ mission to support the future of our children, the TangerKIDS Grants program is designed to award grant money to local schools in the communities where Tanger Outlet Centers are located.
WHERE: The following schools have been awarded TangerKIDS Grants for a total of $3,463.50 from Tanger Outlets Ocean City: the Wocester County Board of Education was awarded $2,463.50 for it’s “Everyone Can Learn and Has Something to Say” program which will benefit five (5) elementary schools in Worcester County! Pocomoke High School was awarded a grant of $1,000 for it’s “Build Up” program for basic technology needs which will positively affect the entire student body!
WHEN: Grants awarded this month will benefit schools for the 2018-2019 school year.
