SALISBURY, MD—Have a million-dollar idea? Want to pitch it to Shark Tank? 47ABC and Salisbury University’s Franklin P. Perdue School of Business recently announced the return of the Shark Tank casting call to Salisbury.
The event will take place Saturday, April 18, at Perdue Hall. On-site registration is 9-11 a.m. All who arrive during this window and receive a wristband will have the opportunity to pitch their businesses live to casting officials for possible selection for the hit ABC show Shark Tank.
Pitches must be limited to 90 seconds or less. Those planning to participate must download casting call materials and bring the completed forms with them
This is the show’s third casting call at SU and the first since 2015. The Perdue School has a long history of supporting entrepreneurs, providing some $300,000 in funding annually through its Ratcliffe Shore Hatchery business incubator program and student Entrepreneurship Competitions.
An Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Economic Development Hub in Perdue Hall also provides resources for student entrepreneurs and others. That support is expected to expand with the opening of SU’s David and Patsy Rommell Center for Entrepreneurship, scheduled later this year.
47ABC is the exclusive ABC network affiliate serving the Delmarva Peninsula since 1980. Shark Tank has been an award-winning program on the ABC network for the past 12 seasons. For more information on participating in the Shark Tank open casting call,
