The Richard A. Henson Foundation, Arthur W. Perdue Foundation and Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore have committed $15,000 toward the Red White & Boom Funds held at the Community Foundation. This $15,000 check represents two years of assistance from each of the three foundations to support this Fourth of July celebration, Red White & Boom. Also, the Arthur W. Perdue Foundation has committed to an additional three years of support for an additional $12,500 for the Red, White and Boom Endowment.
According to Donna Altvater, Executive Director, Richard A. Henson Foundation, “What is more exciting or patriotic than a fireworks display on the Fourth of July? The Henson Foundation is delighted to play a role in keeping that tradition alive in the Salisbury community for many years to come.”
