In recognition of National Preparedness Month, Telamon Corporation has partnered with FEMA to offer a free, nationwide COVID-19 Disaster Response and Preparedness workshop. Attendees will learn about emergency response and preparedness amid the COVID-19 health pandemic. The first 50 households to register receive a free survival kit!

This workshop will be held virtually on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM. Panelists include Dan Stoneking, External Affairs Director of FEMA (Region 3) and John Dispaldo, who contracts with FEMA (Region 3) as the Regional Preparedness Liaison to Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, Delaware, and the District of Columbia.

Stoneking and Dispaldo will discuss COVID-19 response and rumor control, hurricane preparedness, and individual preparedness with special attention paid to pets, the elderly, impoverished communities, and accessibility needs. There will be a review of emergency toolkits and resources and a discussion of Fair Housing during a national crisis.
