Salisbury- The City of Salisbury’s Information Services (IS) team is excited to announce the new SBY Citizen Problem Reporter, now available on the City website. This new, interactive application allows citizens to report problems or concerns to the City so that they can be solved in a timely manner. Anything from a burnt-out streetlight or pothole to missed trash pick-up can be reported through the new application, which also provides updates to citizens as City teams work to correct the problem.
The SBY Citizen Problem Reporter can be accessed from both Android and iPhones and reports can be made 24 hours a day, seven days a week. To access the SBY Citizen Problem Reporter, simply visit the City website, www.salisbury.md, and tap “Report an Issue,” located at the very top of our homepage on desktops and under the menu tab on mobile devices.
Once on the Citizen Problem Reporter page, choose “Proceed as Guest” in order to open the interactive guide which will allow citizens to report, follow, and receive updates about their issue. By entering contact information, citizens will receive status updates about their problem, notifications when the problem has been resolved, as well as a short survey, which will allow the user to respond with how satisfied they are with the services provided.
“We are always looking for new ways to connect citizens with the City services that they need, and our new SBY Citizen Problem Solver will do just that,” shared City Administrator Julia Glanz. “Thank you to our Information Services team for working to make this application not only easily accessible to citizens of Salisbury, but for making it dynamic enough for us to provide real-time updates and notifications directly to community members about their issues.”
