SALISBURY, MD – At the 2022 Annual Awards Celebration on February 25, Hudson Behavioral Health was recognized by the Greater Ocean City Chamber of Commerce as the Non-Profit of the Year.
This award recognizes a non-profit that has made a notable impact on the quality of life for those who live and work in the area while adhering to their nonprofit’s mission statement. Nominations for this year’s Non-Profit of the Year were vetted by the Chamber’s awards committee, which selected one winner.
“I was honored to accept this award on behalf of our entire dedicated staff and Board of Directors at Hudson,” said Leslie Brown, CEO of Hudson Behavioral Health. “We work tirelessly to provide addiction treatment services to the Delmarva Peninsula, and this recognition was very much appreciated.”
Brown attended the Awards Celebration at the Clarion Resort Fontainebleau Hotel in Ocean City, Maryland and was presented the Nonprofit of the Year award by Erica Joseph, President of the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore.
Formed in 1980 as Hudson Health Services, Inc., Hudson Behavioral Health brought the first residential addiction treatment program to the Eastern Shore. Today, thousands of patients later, Hudson remains focused on providing quality care and developing innovative programs to address patient needs.
