SALISBURY, MD – Ronstadt Revue will take the stage for a dinner and show event at the Wicomico Civic Center on Saturday, April 16. Billed as the ultimate tribute to Linda Ronstadt, Ronstadt Revue celebrates the singer’s 40+ year career by spanning her musical genres including country, rock, pop, American Standards, Cajun and mariachi.
Ronstadt, who retired from music in 2011 after progressive supranuclear palsy rendered her unable to sing, has been awarded eleven Grammys, three American Music Awards, two Academy of Country Music awards, Emmy and ALMA Awards, plus a Kennedy Center Lifetime Achievement Award. She sold more than 100 million albums worldwide.
Ronstadt Revue has been endorsed by three of Ronstadt’s own band members. Two of these band members are currently co-producing the band’s upcoming album. John Beland will also appear on tour with Ronstadt Revue in Texas and California. “It’s been quite an honor to have such strong support from Linda’s own band members, like John Beland and Dan Dugmore,” said vocalist Gesenia. “John is, in particular, no fan of tribute bands, yet he was kind enough to describe us as ‘the real thing.’”
Tickets are still available for the Ronstadt Revue Dinner & Show. The dinner menu includes honey glazed ham, fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and carrots, garden salad, dinner rolls, assorted desserts, coffee, iced tea and water. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.
Tickets are available at www.WicomicoCivicCenter.org or by phone at 410-548-4911. Ticket sales close on April 13 at 4 p.m.
