Angel Tree program provides joy for local children in need.
Salisbury, MD – October 11, 2022 –The Salvation Army Lower Eastern Shore will be doing in-person registration for our Angel Tree program for children ages birth to 14 years old starting October 17 through October 21, 2022, at select times. The Angel Tree program provides new clothing and toys for children in our community from low-income families. To register, a parent or guardian will need to provide proof of address, current photo identification for applicant, proof of birthdate for all children being registered, proof of total household income for last 30 days.
Once a child has been registered as an “Angel,” The Salvation Army makes a promise to provide Christmas for that child. The “Angels” are placed around town for generous individuals, companies,
churches, and other organizations to purchase gifts. Because of The Salvation Army Angel Tree program, over a thousand local children will find gifts waiting under their Christmas tree this year.
Open registration will be the following days and times:
Monday October 17: 9am – noon & 1-4pm
Wednesday October 19: 9am – noon
Thursday October 20: 4-7pm
