Salisbury, MD — In recognition of the demand for workers in the Insurance industry, Lower Shore Workforce Alliance has partnered with The Insurance Market, Gary Marshall Insurance, Landmark Insurance & Financial Group and Tawes Insurance to develop a no-cost training program featuring a Maryland pre-licensing exam prep class. This training will provide a first step toward obtaining a Maryland State Insurance license in areas of Property and Casualty Insurance.
Applicants may apply online from March 1 to March 31.
The applicants will be scheduled to take a basic skills test and interview with the student selection committee on April 4 at 9 am – 4 pm or April 6 at 9 am – 4 pm at the Lower Shore American Job Center.
Jim Hartstein with The Insurance Market will be teaching the 3-day course on April 24, 25th and 26th from 9 am – 4 pm to at the Lower Shore American Job Center.
Individuals who complete the course will have the opportunity to interview with a local Insurance Company and will receive a free exam voucher for the Maryland Property and Casualty Licensing exam.
