During the week of April 27th, 10 Hebron Savings Bank Branch Managers delivered financial literacy lessons to K-8 students in their local market as part of the ABA Foundation’s 2023 Teach Children to Save Day. The bankers raised financial awareness through in-school presentations promoting responsible saving habits.
Employees taught students the fundamentals of personal finance through age-specific activities and interactive scenarios. “We are pleased to play a critical role in helping children understand the importance of developing a savings mindset,” said the President of Hebron Savings Bank, Jennifer Poulsen. “We cover important topics like budgeting, saving, and investing through age-appropriate activities.”
