Salisbury, MD — TidalHealth is pleased to announce that Todd Houck, RT(R), is TidalHealth Peninsula Regional’s 3rd Quarter 2023 Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen Award recipient. This award is given to TidalHealth Medical Imaging professionals and is named after Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen, a German physicist and mechanical engineer who discovered X-rays in 1895.
Houck was nominated not once, not twice, but four times for this award and is a valued member of the Radiology department at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional.
Houck exemplifies TidalHealth values. He is a team player, is friendly, and is a huge patient advocate. He is always willing to go the extra mile when assisting staff and patients. Patient safety is his top priority and he always strives to provide the best care to his patients from start to finish. He works efficiently and effectively to execute his job in a timely manner.
There is no better team player on the night shift than Houck. He will jump in to help staff in trauma cases when needed. He has a presence about him that gets people to listen. He is an essential part of the night shift team whether it’s on the floors, operating room, or the Emergency Department (ED). He shines the most in ED cases that involve difficult and stressful situations. He communicates well with staff and physicians, making suggestions and thinking outside of the box.
