Local baker and entrepreneur Kim Timmons has made it to the quarterfinals of the Greatest Baker Challenge! The online contest started back in November, and after several elimination rounds, Kim was voted 1st place overall in her group and has advanced to the quarterfinals.
If she makes it through this round of voting, she will advance to the semifinals, and eventually the finals! The contest ends on 2/1/24.
The grand prize is $10,000, a meet and greet with Carlos from Cake Boss, and a photo shoot and feature in Baked from Scratch Magazine. If Kim wins, she plans to use the prize money towards creating a bakery/commercial kitchen space that she hopes to share with other local bakers.
