ANNAPOLIS, MD – The Maryland Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the appointment of Grason M. Wiggins as its new Vice President of Government Affairs. Wiggins brings extensive experience in legislative affairs and advocacy, positioning him to lead the Chamber’s government relations efforts on behalf of its 7,000+ members.
Wiggins joins the Chamber from Harris Jones & Malone, LLC (HJM), where he represented a diverse portfolio of clients and worked closely with the Maryland General Assembly and Governor Moore’s administration on policies that impact Maryland’s economy. Previously, he served as Senior Manager of Government Affairs at the Maryland Multi-Housing Association (MMHA) and as Director of Legislative and Regulatory Affairs at the Maryland Department of Labor.
In his new role, Wiggins will lead the Chamber’s Government Affairs team, advocate for Maryland’s diverse business community, and utilize his advocacy experience and relationships with elected officials to help strengthen our state’s business climate.

As Vice President of Government Affairs, Wiggins will develop and execute advocacy strategies at the state and federal level. His efforts will focus on advancing policies that support business growth, create jobs, and enhance Maryland’s competitiveness.
Wiggins succeeds Andrew Griffin, who served as Senior Vice President of Government Affairs for over five years. The Maryland Chamber thanks Griffin for his significant contributions to both our members and Maryland’s diverse business community.

Wiggins holds a law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law and has helped shape housing, real estate, financial regulation, labor, and workforce development legislation during his time in Annapolis.
