Salisbury, MD — “The opportunities provided … are absolutely fantastic,” and the campus is “welcoming and supportive” with “the best people I have ever met.”

These are some of the student comments about Salisbury University in The Princeton Review’s new 2025 edition of The Best 390 Colleges. The University is among the nation’s top 15 percent of four-year colleges, according to the Review’s flagship guide.

“Students are at the core of everything we do at Salisbury University,” said President Carolyn Ringer Lepre. “Our commitment to a student-centered approach in both academics and campus life is reflected in these reviews. It’s particularly meaningful that The Princeton Review, which values student feedback in its rankings, has recognized Salisbury University as one of the nation’s top colleges for over 25 years.”

Spotlighted in SU’s review are academics, a sense of support among students, and appreciation for athletics, student organizations and University Dining Services, along with “a super diverse and awesome student body with people from all walks of life.”

On the academic side, students were excited about opportunities including study abroad, laboratory research, team-based learning, and use of technology in the classroom, including augmented reality. They specifically shouted out SU’s nursing, biological sciences and art programs, as well as the Franklin P. Perdue School of Business (“one of the best in the state”) and Glenda Chatham and Robert G. Clarke Honors College.

Students also continued to laud SU’s Patricia R. Guerrieri Academic Commons, again ranked among the top 20 collegiate libraries in the U.S. (SU’s library services “are amazing,” according to one.)

In addition, The Princeton Review again named SU one of its “Best Northeastern Colleges” and among the nation’s “Green Colleges.” The sustainable accolade is an honor SU has earned each year since The Princeton Review first offered it in 2010.

“I rate this campus 100/100,” wrote one student, summarizing this year’s overall ranking. “Everything is excellent.”
