Chesapeake Health Care Celebrates 30th Anniversary with Successful Community Health Fair

Salisbury, MD – September 16, 2024 – On Saturday, September 14, Chesapeake Health Care (CHC) proudly hosted a vibrant Community Health Fair at the Woodbrooke Medical Complex, marking three decades of dedicated service to Maryland’s Eastern Shore communities.

The event drew over 400 attendees who enjoyed a day brimming with activities aimed at promoting wellness and community spirit. Highlights included complimentary health screenings, fitness activities, and a variety of local food vendors. Attendees also enjoyed live music, a petting zoo, and engaging activities tailored for all ages. CHC further provided essential services such as flu shots and assistance with health insurance enrollment, reinforcing its commitment to comprehensive community health care.

“We were thrilled to celebrate our 30th anniversary with such a lively and engaging event,” remarked Nancy Baker, MSN, RN, Chief Nursing Officer at Chesapeake Health Care. “The Community Health Fair exemplified our mission to enhance health outcomes and build a healthier community together.”
