On January 24, 2025, the SACC President/CEO Bill Chambers met with Maryland Governor Wes Moore at the State House in Annapolis. Discussions included how the business community can support his economic growth proposals contained in his FY2026 state budget.
Following the meeting, Maryland Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (MACCE) Past Chair Bill Chambers led a “Fireside Chat” at the annual MACCE Legislative Conference, where thirty chamber executives from across Maryland heard from Governor Moore on a variety of topics including his FY 2026 budget proposals, how his administration is committed to growing Maryland’s economy and making Maryland more competitive.
