SALISBURY — TidalHealth Peninsula Regional honors the following four team members as 4th Quarter 2024 Team Members of the Quarter:
Administrative & Support Services: Sarah Donohoe, Purchasing
Sarah Donohoe of Purchasing is TidalHealth Peninsula Regional’s 4th Quarter 2024 Team Member of the Quarter for Administrative and Support Services.
Donohoe has only been with TidalHealth’s purchasing team for two years, but in that time, she has helped improve the coordination of contracts and renewals. She has embraced redlining legal terms and conditions, and questioning vendors about pricing and/or scope of services with nearly every local agreement for which she is responsible. She has an exceptional work ethic and a keen eye for detail and is a vital part of the purchasing team.
Professional Services: Justin Morris, Respiratory
Justin Morris of Respiratory is TidalHealth Peninsula Regional’s 4th Quarter 2024 Team Member of the Quarter for Professional Services.
Morris was recognized for going above and beyond as a mentor for a new team member. He not only taught them all of his tips and tricks but was also mindful of the personal aspect of their well-being. He is happy to share his vast wealth of knowledge with all his coworkers, offer insightful feedback and provide encouragement. His compassionate care and desire to continually learn inspire many.
Nursing Services: Sandra Cove, Cardiac Short Stay Unit
Sandra Cove, RN, of the Cardiac Short Stay Unit (CSSU) is one of TidalHealth Peninsula Regional’s 4th Quarter 2024 Team Members of the Quarter for Nursing Services.
Cove is a compassionate nurse who provides a personal touch and caring response for her patients. Since January 2016, she has served as the main coordinator for TidalHealth’s ALS Clinic, which runs once a month. She knows every patient and family and keeps in contact with them between visits. She has made house calls to many patients and works tirelessly with insurance to get each patient what they need for this devastating disease.
Nursing Services: Tracy Williams, Same Day Surgery
Tracy Williams, RN, of Same Day Surgery is one of TidalHealth Peninsula Regional’s 4th Quarter 2024 Team Members of the Quarter for Nursing Services.
Williams was recognized for her dedication and compassionate care. Recently, she demonstrated exceptional attentiveness by identifying a patient struggling with shortness of breath and hypoxia. With her calm demeanor, she reassured the patient and mobilized the necessary resources to stabilize
the situation quickly and effectively. She actively listens, generously shares knowledge, and fosters a positive and collaborative environment.
