Maryland & Delaware — TidalHealth’s Laboratory Outreach Services team is pleased to announce that Jewel Brown is its 1st Quarter 2025 Monarch Award recipient. This award recognizes TidalHealth phlebotomists for their dedication, compassion, commitment to providing exceptional care to our patients, and service excellence through their actions.
Brown joined TidalHealth just over a year ago and floats to all lab outreach locations. She was nominated for the consistent compassion and excellent service she provides to outpatients.
One patient recently sent TidalHealth an email expressing her appreciation. The patient was rushing to get her blood work completed and had a migraine, but Brown made her feel great. The patient stated, “Jewel was incredibly kind. Not only did she do a ‘great stick’ (I’m a bit of a challenge, but I felt nothing!), but she was also so sympathetic.” She said Brown did a fantastic job, seemed genuinely kind, and was a hard-working lady.
