A Night of Giving: Funding Lifesaving Equipment and Scholarships for Future Paramedics
The Salisbury Paramedic Foundation is thrilled to announce its 1st Annual Gala this Fall at Bordeleau Vineyard & Winery. The event will be held Friday, September 19, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the beautiful Eden winery. This special event will bring together community members and supporters for an evening of wine, connection, and giving, all to support critical emergency medical initiatives across the region.
Proceeds from the gala will benefit three key efforts designed to strengthen emergency response and support the next generation of paramedics:
- Community AED Initiative
The Foundation’s 2025 goal is to install 20 Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in key public spaces throughout Salisbury and surrounding communities. AEDs are crucial, life-saving devices that can significantly improve survival rates in sudden cardiac arrest events by delivering immediate, accessible care before EMS arrives. - Ultrasound Units for Salisbury EMS
Funds raised will also support the purchase of 4 portable ultrasound machines, one for each Salisbury EMS unit. These cutting-edge devices will allow paramedics to perform real-time diagnostics in the field, enabling faster, more accurate assessments during emergencies and improving patient care. - The Bryan Lewis Memorial Scholarship
Named in memory of a respected and devoted paramedic, the Bryan Lewis Scholarship provides financial support to students entering the Paramedic Program at Wor-Wic Community College. This scholarship honors Bryan’s legacy by investing in the future of EMS and helping aspiring paramedics receive the education and training they need to serve their communities.
