The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce proudly joined Downtown Bridal for a celebratory ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, September 4, commemorating five dazzling years at their elegant Oak Ridge Commons location in Salisbury, Maryland.
Downtown Bridal has blossomed into a cherished destination on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, offering a curated selection of bridal, prom, pageant, and formalwear for every milestone moment. Under the visionary leadership of owner Maria Demetriou, the boutique continues to redefine the formalwear experience with personalized service, luxurious suites, and a commitment to helping every guest feel radiant.
“I’ve been part of Downtown Bridal since 2014,” shared Demetriou. “When the previous owner retired, I knew I wanted to carry the torch and evolve the boutique into something even more magical. Since relocating from downtown Salisbury five years ago, we’ve expanded our offerings, added new departments – including a brand-new men’s-wear line – and created immersive spaces like our newly unveiled Garden Suite to make every fitting unforgettable. I’m deeply grateful to my incredible team, who are the heart and soul of this boutique.”
The events highlights included a walkthrough of the boutique, Downtown Bridal’s platinum bridal experience and in-house alteration services, Tricky Tray door prize giveaways, and celebratory light fare and refreshments. During the event, models showcased evening gowns with elegance, confidence and fluid movements that highlighted the gown’s silhouette, fabric, and flow.
