
The Career Carnival is a free, family-friendly event designed for individuals of all ages who are exploring career interests, considering new job opportunities, or simply wanting to learn more about local industries on the Lower Eastern Shore.
The event features:

· Career-themed games and prizes (redeemable via collected tickets)
· Virtual reality career simulations
· “Career Treats” and fun, engaging activities
Our goal is to create a positive, carnival-like environment that encourages open conversations about careers—something that can often feel overwhelming. Whether it’s a parent looking for a new opportunity or a student thinking about life after high school, this event offers something for everyone. The Lower Shore Workforce Alliance is a division of the Tri-County Council for the Lower Eastern Shore of Maryland. Through State and Federal Sources, LSWA operates to provide training for Young Adults and Adults who are seeking reliable, well paying, secure careers within the Tri-County Area. In addition to jobseeker services, LSWA has a Business Services department that assists businesses in establishing apprenticeship programs, maintaining community relationships, and assisting employers with upskilling, retention, and attraction strategies to aid in their business’ success.
