• SBA WOSB (Women Owned Small Business Certification)
Thursday, October 2 | Noon – 1 p.m.
In partnership with the Baltimore Metropolitan and MCE Women’s Business Centers and presented by the SBA Baltimore District Office, this session introduces women entrepreneurs to the SBA’s Woman Owned Small Business Certification program, including eligibility, benefits, and the application process.
• Wealthy Child Care Leader – Think Like a CEO
Wednesday, October 15 | 6 – 7:30 p.m.
Led by Dr. Amy Stewart, Owner of The Night Watch Child Care Center, this first session in a three-part series helps child care leaders explore long-term vision, service expansion, and contingency planning.
• First Steps in Starting Your Own Business
Tuesday, October 21 | Noon – 1 p.m.
MCE Baltimore Regional Director Nick Rudolph will guide participants through the realities of small business ownership, Maryland requirements, business planning, and why strong credit is essential.
• Wealthy Child Care Leader – Operate Like a COO
Wednesday, October 22 | 6 – 7:30 p.m.
Part two of Dr. Stewart’s series focuses on strengthening operations, establishing sustainable systems, and using AI tools to enhance child care business management.
• Reshaping Your Relationship with Money
Thursday, October 23 | 6 – 7 p.m.
Presented by Lyndsae Peele, CEO of Kingdom Vision Consulting, this session helps participants explore and reframe financial mindsets, uncover limiting beliefs, and build healthier approaches to money management.
• Let’s Talk Funding with MCE & M&T Bank
Monday, October 27 | 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
MCE’s Nick Rudolph and M&T Bank VP of Multicultural Banking James W. Peterson, Jr. will discuss funding types, application requirements, common mistakes, and offer an open Q&A on business financing.
• SAM.gov Government Contracting
Tuesday, October 28 | Noon – 1 p.m.
Roslyn Davis, PMP, DASM, CEO of RoDa Business Solutions, will walk participants through SAM.gov profiles and how to position businesses for federal contracts and grants.
• Wealthy Child Care Leader – Budget Like a CFO
Wednesday, October 29 | 6 – 7:30 p.m.
The final session in Dr. Stewart’s series focuses on budgeting strategies, cost management, and practical financial planning for child care businesses.
