Salisbury, MD — The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce proudly co-hosted a lively ribbon-cutting ceremony on October 22 to celebrate the official opening of Wok N Bowl, a dynamic new eatery bringing bold Asian-inspired flavors to the heart of Salisbury.
Located at 1311 South Salisbury Boulevard, directly across from Salisbury University, Wok N Bowl is the brainchild of women entrepreneurs Cindy Sin Tung and Winnie XiuSu Liu, who have infused their passion for fresh, flavorful cuisine into every dish. The event drew a crowd of local leaders, food lovers, and Chamber members eager to welcome the restaurant to the community.
Guests were treated to a generous buffet-style of Wok N Bowl’s diverse menu, featuring salad bowls, lo mein & fried rice, wontons & egg rolls, General Tso’s chicken, coconut shrimp, beef teriyaki & beef and broccoli, chicken and broccoli, mango bubble tea and more!
Attendees also had the chance to enter a business card raffle for a chance to win gift cards to enjoy future meals at Wok N Bowl. Those who stayed until the end had the opportunity to watch how a robot delivered food to customers.
During the celebration, Cindy and Winnie shared heartfelt remarks about their journey and vision. “Our goal is simple – to serve fresh, healthy, and delicious Asian food that everyone can enjoy,” said Cindy. “Every dish is made fresh daily, with quality ingredients, clean preparation, and affordable prices.”
