SALISBURY, MD – Kids are invited to try a new sport before committing to an entire season at Wicomico Recreation & Parks’ upcoming Just Try It event.
Just Try It will take place Tuesday, Feb. 10 at the Wicomico Civic Center from 5–7 p.m. It’s open for kids ages 3-11 and is free to attend.
“Just Try It offers kids the opportunity to sample a few different sports at one time to see what they enjoy,” said Recreation
Program Specialist Randy McFadden. “It gives families peace of mind to know their kids like a sport before signing up for a full season.”
Baseball, softball, lacrosse and golf will be featured at this season’s event.
Local sports organizations will host short clinics throughout the event. Music, giveaways and information about Wicomico
Recreation & Parks’ scholarship opportunities will also be available.
