City of Salisbury to Lift State of Emergency Tomorrow Morning

City Lifts State of Emergency Monday 6 a.m.
Salisbury, MD — The City of Salisbury announced today that the local state of emergency will be lifted effective 6:00 a.m. tomorrow, Monday, January 26. 
This decision follows the successful completion of necessary response and recovery efforts. 
City officials expressed appreciation for the cooperation and resilience shown by residents, businesses and emergency personnel throughout the duration of the emergency declaration. 
As previously announced, City offices and buildings will remain closed Monday, January 26. Offices are expected to reopen Tuesday, January 27.
 
We encourage those venturing out tomorrow to do so with extreme caution. State of Maryland and Wicomico County declarations may remain in place. Check available resources before leaving home.
