
The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce, a regional Chamber, welcomed its new board and council members on Wednesday, January 28, at the Eastern Shore Regional Library in Salisbury.
The Honorable James “Bo” McAllister, Clerk of the Court for Wicomico County, presided over the swearing-in ceremony for the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce’s 2026 Board of Directors Chair, Board of Directors, and Voting Council members.
Deanna Whittington, Vice President and Branch Manager at M&T Bank, was sworn in as Chair of the 2026 Chamber Board of Directors. Upon taking the oath of office, Whittington shared, “I care deeply about our business community and the community at large, it is a profound honor to Chair the Chamber Board this year.”
New members of the Board of Directors include Jim Fuss, Business Development Manager at BBSI, and David Livingston, Financial Advisor at Livingston Wealth Management.
Andrea Staub, Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications at Perdue Farms, was sworn in as a member of the Voting Council.
Joining the Chamber At-Large Council for 2026 are Valerie T. Connelly, Vice President of Government Affairs and Public Relations at Choptank Electric Cooperative; Jesus Cruz, Marketing Associate at The Insurance Market; Daniel DiGrazio, President of R&R Coatings, Inc.; Terrence McGowan, President of the Coastal Association of Realtors; Nicole Rogers, Representative of the Downtown Salisbury Business Alliance; and Patricia Shea, Director of Sales for the Residence Inn by Marriott and Courtyard by Marriott.
SACC President and CEO Bill Chambers, along with incoming Board Chair Deanna Whittington, expressed their sincere appreciation to outgoing Chairman of the Board Zach Evans of Mountaire Farms, as well as outgoing Board members Melissa Geeslin of Goosehead Insurance and Brad Mogan of Mogan’s Oyster House, for their leadership and dedicated service. They also thanked all incoming and outgoing Board and Council members for their continued commitment to advancing the Chamber’s mission and supporting the Salisbury area business community.
