Travelers on the Lower Eastern Shore will soon have even more flexibility and convenience when flying to Central Florida. Breeze Airways announced it will add a Wednesday nonstop flight between Salisbury and Orlando beginning April 1, bringing the airline’s service at Salisbury to three flights per week. The additional weekly frequency reflects strong demand for the route and continued confidence in the Salisbury market.
“We have been really pleased with the demand we’ve seen from Salisbury for our Orlando service,” said Lukas Johnson, Breeze Airways’ chief commercial officer for Breeze Airways. “And that is evident by this added weekly frequency. We know the community enjoys Breeze’s added affordability, and the great convenience of being able to fly right out of their own backyards with shorter TSA lines, easier travel days, and more.”
County Executive Julie Giordano welcomed the expansion, noting its importance to the region’s economy and quality of life. “This added Wednesday flight is a clear sign that our airport is thriving and that demand for convenient, affordable air service continues to grow,” Giordano said. “Expanded Breeze service means more options for our residents, stronger tourism connections, and continued momentum for Salisbury Regional Airport as a critical economic driver for Wicomico County and the entire Eastern Shore.”
The added flight strengthens nonstop connectivity between Salisbury Regional Airport and Orlando International Airport, making leisure and family travel easier while supporting local business and tourism.
