Salisbury, MD — In recognition of Women’s History Month, the Wicomico County Commission for Women is now accepting nominations to honor women in Wicomico County who are making a meaningful impact in their communities.

The Commission invites the public to nominate women who lead, serve, advocate, and uplift others—often in ways that are unseen but deeply felt. These honorees represent the strength, resilience, and leadership that shape our neighborhoods, workplaces, and families across the Lower Shore.

Award recipients will be announced and honored during the Célébrez la Femme Empowerment Summit Presents: State of HER Emergency 2026, on Saturday, March 21 at Salisbury University.

Nomination deadline: March 2, 2026
Nomination form: https://bit.ly/WicomicoWomen2026

The Commission encourages nominations of women from all backgrounds, professions, and walks of life. Whether through professional leadership, volunteerism, caregiving, advocacy, or quiet acts of service, nominees should demonstrate a commitment to strengthening the Wicomico County community.
