
Twenty-one jail and correctional officers from Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset, Dorchester and Caroline counties graduated in the 123rd entrance-level class of the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy (ESCJA) operated by Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.
Graduation exercises, which were held in Guerrieri Hall on the college campus, featured a commencement address by Major Tracie Purnell of the Eastern Correctional Institution (ECI).
Donald Rollyson Jr., associate director of the ESCJA, and Rob Dell’Erba, ESCJA coordinator, presided at the ceremony. Manisha Camper of the Caroline County Department of Corrections was the class speaker.
In addition to Camper, graduates included Daquantae’ White of the Wicomico County Department of Corrections; De’nesha Dale, Dashon Nuttall and Jacob Shourds of the Worcester County Jail and Detention Center; Christina Bloedoorn, Billy Colston, Ja’Kea Cornish, Cincere Dennis, Kimberly Duffy, Brandon Gilbow, James Jester, Jamaica Johnson, Brittany Marshall, Terrance Milton, Stanford Vickers Jr., Joshua Wenner and Jennifer Wissler of ECI; Vince Ivan Dela Cruz and Gerald Dietrich of the Dorchester County Department of Corrections; and Dexter Lynn of the Caroline County Department of Corrections.
