
Salisbury, MD — The Eastern Shore Leadership Institute announces its upcoming Effective Leadership in Action series, a three-session professional development program designed to strengthen leadership capability, enhance organizational effectiveness, and prepare professionals for emerging workplace challenges.
The series on May 14, May 28, and June 11, 2026 (https://easternshoreleaders.org/effective-leadership-in-action-2026-series-1/) brings together subject matter experts to deliver practical training in leadership, technology, and change management.
Participants will gain skills and strategies in the following areas:
Courage to Lead
Enhancing trust, managing conflict, improving communication, and strengthening psychological safety and decision-making in teams.
Presented by Robin Hall, SPHR, Mariposa Training & HR Consulting, LLC.
AI Leadership
Exploring artificial intelligence in business settings and developing a 30-day AI pilot plan to support AI-ready leadership and organizational culture.
Presented by Justin Kelley, Impact Technology Group.
Leading Through Change
Applying the 5Cs of Change Management to lead teams effectively through transitions and organizational advancement.
Presented by Steve Grem, Leadership Consultant and former CEO.
Participants who complete the program will receive a Certificate of Completion from Wor-Wic Community College.
The mission of the Eastern Shore Leadership Institute, a committee of the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce, is to sharpen and elevate the leadership skills and know-how of business professionals as a resource for organizations investing in their growth and success. The Effective Leadership in Action series is designed for professionals seeking to strengthen leadership capability, adapt to evolving workplace demands, and drive meaningful impact within their organizations. The series is offered in partnership with Wor-Wic Community College.
