All sessions are free and open to the public, and everyone is welcome to attend.
Throughout the month, participants can take advantage of expert-led sessions covering business startup fundamentals, planning and cash flow, funding opportunities, marketing strategies, and specialized resources for veteran-owned businesses.

Led by Nick Rudolph, Baltimore Regional Director at MCE, this session introduces participants to the realities of entrepreneurship, including the pros and cons of business ownership, Maryland business requirements, the importance of credit, and why a business plan is essential.
Part 2: How to Write a Business Plan & Project Cash Flow

This session focuses on two critical tools for success—business plans and cash flow projections—and how they support long-term growth and funding opportunities.
Part 3: Let’s Talk Funding with MCE
Wednesday, May 20, 2026 | 6:00–7:00 p.m.
Featuring Nick Rudolph (MCE) and James W. Peterson, Jr. (M&T Bank), this final session explores funding options, application processes, and common mistakes to avoid, along with a live Q&A.

Wednesday, May 20, 2026 | Noon–1:00 p.m. Presented by Betsy Long, Owner of B. Long Socials, this engaging workshop helps business owners maximize their presence on Instagram. Topics include creating an effective profile, content strategy, and growing audience engagement.
