Sharpen Your Skills This Summer at Basketball Camp

Salisbury, MD — This summer young athletes can hit the court and grow their game with Wicomico Recreation & Parks’ basketball camps that focus on skill development, teamwork and enhancing player’s basketball IQ.

Little Tots is a free three-day camp held Aug. 4–6 at the Wicomico Civic Center. Designed for children ages 4–6, this camp introduces the basics of basketball in a fun and engaging environment.

Crossover Basketball Skills Camp will be held August 3–7 at the Wicomico Civic Center. Open to all skill levels, this half-day camp gives boys and girls the opportunity to learn from Chris Agoglia, head coach and founder of the Crossover Basketball program. The cost is $75 per participant and includes a t-shirt.

HoopHers Summer Camp is a girls-only basketball camp running Aug. 3–7 at the Wicomico Civic Center and is aimed at developing players’ mechanics, skills and court awareness. The camp provides a safe and fun environment for hoopers of all skill levels to improve their game. The cost is $60 per participant.

HoopHers Academy is a series of free outdoor youth basketball clinics for girls running from July 21-Aug. 6 at The Courts at Harmon Field. Participants will focus on skill development and gameplay, culminating in an end-of-session playoff tournament.
