Salisbury, MD — Junior Achievement of the Eastern Shore is proud to announce that three students from James M. Bennett High School — Minsuk Kim, Sophia Reynoso, and Sara Esoud — were selected to compete at Future Bound 2026, a national Junior Achievement USA competition.
After earning first place in the Stock Market Challenge, the students will travel to Boston, Massachusetts, from June 7–11 to compete against 35 other teams. At Future Bound 2026, students will demonstrate their skills on the national stage, showcasing their mastery of entrepreneurial, financial, and strategic thinking.
“We are incredibly proud of these students and the collaboration and leadership they demonstrated throughout the competition,” said Interim President Erin Williamson. In addition to participating in their national competition, the students will have the opportunity to engage in workshops led by national experts in innovation, entrepreneurship, and business, gaining real-world insights and critical skills around financial literacy, career readiness, and entrepreneurship.

The JA Stock Market Challenge is a dynamic investment simulation that gives students the opportunity to apply 21st-century skills, including critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and adaptability, in a fast-paced competitive environment.
Participants demonstrate strategic decision-making and risk management as they respond to breaking news, analyze market trends, and make real-time trading decisions aimed at maximizing portfolio performance.
