Salisbury, MD — Delmarva-based architectural and engineering firm George, Miles & Buhr, LLC (GMB) congratulates staff member Jacob S. Lathroum, P.E., on successfully passing the eight-hour Principles and Practice of Engineering exam and becoming a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Maryland.
Lathroum joined GMB’s Salisbury office Site/Sustainable Group in 2022. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland.
Jake’s recent notable work includes engineering design for street utility and infrastructure improvements in the City of Lewes, Delaware, as well as stormwater management projects throughout Sussex County, Delaware, and Ocean City, Maryland. He specializes in sustainable stormwater solutions, including wet ponds, submerged gravel wetlands, and bioretention facilities, and has provided site support for solar energy projects.
