Hebron, MD — Hebron Savings Bank (HSB) today announced the launch of “Rooted on the Shore,” a new community arts initiative that will transform several bank ATM locations across Maryland’s Eastern Shore into vibrant public mural installations celebrating the communities they serve.

The project is being created in partnership with We Are Limitless Studios, dedicated to mural making, creative expression, and expanding access to the arts across Maryland’s Eastern Shore.

Each mural will reflect the unique identity and heritage of its surrounding community, from historic downtown districts and waterfront traditions to the industries, people, and stories that define life on the Shore. The murals will incorporate themes tied to local history, maritime culture, preservation, and community pride while reflecting the visual character and colors of Maryland’s
Eastern Shore.

As part of the design process, HSB and We Are Limitless Studios will actively gather feedback and input from local residents, customers, community stakeholders, and civic organizations to help
shape the creative direction for each location. The goal is for every mural to authentically reflect the culture, character, and shared identity of the community it represents.

Locations included in the initial rollout include Hebron, Berlin, Cambridge, Crisfield, Fruitland, and Salisbury. In addition to custom ATM mural surrounds, the project will also feature a larger mural installation at the Bank’s Hebron location. Manufacturing and production activities for the first installations are expected to begin in mid-summer, with mural installations rolling out in phases across multiple HSB locations.

“Rooted on the Shore reflects who we are as a community bank,” said Jennifer Poulsen, HSB CEO and President. “We are deeply connected to the people and places of the Eastern Shore, and this
initiative is about celebrating those stories in a highly visible and meaningful way. We believe public art has the power to create pride, spark conversation, and strengthen community identity.”

As part of the initiative, HSB plans to create a broader community engagement experience around the murals through artist storytelling, social media features, public events, tourism partnerships,
and interactive visitor experiences designed to encourage residents and visitors to explore mural locations throughout the region.

We Are Limitless Studios will lead the artistic design and installation process while working closely with HSB and local stakeholders to ensure each mural reflects the culture and character of its
specific community.

“This partnership is about creating art that belongs to the community,” said Brandon Bell, of We Are Limitless Studios. “We’re excited to help bring these stories to life and create installations
that residents can feel proud of for years to come.”

The initiative is part of HSB’s broader commitment to community investment, local culture, and the long-term vitality of Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Additional details, artist features, installation
schedules, and public launch events will be announced in the coming months.
