Did you know our regional Salisbury Zoo is one of the few FREE zoos in the country? What a gem we have!
Our Fifth Annual Able to Work Community Event at the Zoo will be held on Saturday, April 12 from 9:00 – 11:30 A.M. The event raises awareness that people with disabilities can and want to work and give back to their community.
This year we are expanding even more with groups joining us to beautify and clean up Salisbury! The Salisbury Area Chamber’s Beautification Committee returns and Chesapeake Tours and Promotions’ Stash Your Trash is on board.
Joining us at the zoo for a second year is Foundation in Human Potential’s Make It Matter which encourages young people to volunteer and serve in their communities.
Every year, we have been at maximum capacity at our Delmarvalous zoo, however, with new groups joining in, other areas of Salisbury benefit as well. Let’s make this year the best one yet! Stay tuned….!
