Willards, MD — Farmers Bank of Willards has announced that Jeanne Robertson has joined the bank as Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer, bringing 38 years of experience in credit, lending, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
A lifelong Eastern Shore resident, Robertson began her banking career with Bank of America and its predecessor institutions as a credit analyst in middle market lending. Most recently, she spent 23 years with The Bank of Delmarva and LINKBANK, where she held leadership positions including Chief Credit Officer, Chief Risk and Compliance Officer, Credit Department Manager, and Loan Review Manager. Her responsibilities included oversight of credit, enterprise risk management, loan operations, special assets, CRA, and regulatory compliance.
“Jeanne brings extensive experience in credit and risk management, along with a deep understanding of community banking,” said Matthew Davis, President of Farmers Bank of Willards. “Her leadership will help support our continued growth while maintaining the strong credit culture that has been a cornerstone of our success.”
In her new role, Robertson will oversee credit administration and help guide the bank’s risk management strategies while supporting its commitment to relationship-based banking.
“I’m excited to join Farmers Bank of Willards and build on its tradition of serving local communities,” Robertson said. “Community banks play a vital role in supporting small businesses and families, and I look forward to strengthening relationships, mentoring future leaders, and continuing to serve the Eastern Shore.”
Robertson resides in Delmar, Delaware, and is active in her church community, serving on the board and as Finance Chair at Cross Pointe Church of the Nazarene.
