The Amazing Race: The Black Business Experience Race for a Purpose Comes to Salisbury on August 1

Salisbury, MD — Faith Over Fear Economic Empowerment Inc. invites the community to participate in The Amazing Race: The Black Business Experience Race for a Purpose on Saturday, August 1, 2026, beginning 8:00 AM at The Salvation Army, 415 Oak Street, Salisbury, MD 21804.

This one-of-a-kind community event combines adventure, teamwork, and economic empowerment by encouraging participants to explore and support Black-owned businesses throughout the Salisbury area. Teams will travel to designated business locations, complete interactive challenges, and learn about the entrepreneurs who are helping strengthen the local economy.

“The Amazing Race is more than a competition. It is an opportunity to celebrate Black entrepreneurship, build community connections, and intentionally support local businesses,” said Faith Over Fear Economic Empowerment Inc. “Every stop along the race highlights the importance of investing in businesses that contribute to the economic vitality of our community.”

The event offers opportunities for everyone to get involved:

·  Form a race team and compete for prizes of up to $200.

·  Register as a vendor and showcase your products or services.

·  Support participating Black-owned businesses by shopping and networking.

·  Volunteer or become a sponsor to help expand the event’s impact.

New and established Black-owned businesses are encouraged to participate. Vendors do not need to have a storefront to take advantage of this opportunity to market their business, connect with potential customers, and increase community visibility.

Proceeds benefits our Junior Wallstreeters program.
