
The public is invited to a poetry workshop and spoken word open mic at Wor-Wic Community College on Sept. 24. The poetry workshop starts at 5 p.m. and will be led by poet Sharnell “Sista Big” Tull of Pocomoke City, author of “Live Again,” “When April Doesn’t Bloom” and “Everything Comes to the Light.” The spoken-word open mic begins at 5:45 p.m. Participants should ensure their material is suitable for all ages. The workshop and open mic will be held in room 200 of the Hazel Center.
