Salisbury, MD – September 28, 2026 – Women Supporting Women proudly announces that Play For a Purpose, a local pickleball tournament, raised $9,240.92 for the organization.
The two-day tournament took place on July 25th through the 26th at Dill Dinkers Pickleball Club in Salisbury, MD. In total, 110 people on 55 teams played across mixed and gendered doubles divisions. Additionally, players and supporters could participate in a variety of raffles and silent auctions between matches.
WSW extends its sincerest gratitude to Dill Dinkers for providing the perfect space for such a successful tournament and to their staff for being so supportive of the fundraiser. The organization also thanks everyone who participated in the tournament and helped make Play For a Purpose such a success. A special thank you goes to event organizer Julie Guyer for her dedication, hard work, and commitment to organizing this event and supporting WSW’s mission.
