The De’Aza and Maldonado sisters purchased a duplex offered by HFHWC, choosing to raise their families together, just a door apart.
“With the cost of rent, food, and healthcare rising, and attainable housing becoming increasingly scarce, it is truly a great day when we can celebrate families achieving the dream of homeownership,” said Molly Hilligoss, CEO of Habitat for Humanity of Wicomico County.
Princess Anne Town Manager Dr. Kristen Drummond attended to mark this milestone for Somerset County. Dr. Drummond spoke about the impact of Habitat’s homeownership program and presented the families with a gift and words of.
