COMMUNITY FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES DR. ALFRED AND RUTH BEATTIE SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINE
Eligible candidates from Wicomico County encouraged to apply
The Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore is now accepting applications for the 2014 Dr. Alfred and Ruth Beattie Healthcare Careers Scholarship.
Initiated in 2011, this Scholarship requires that applicants must have graduated from public or private high schools in Wicomico County and successfully completed at least one year of undergraduate study in an eligible healthcare program.
Scholarship recipients may reapply for multiple years subject to satisfactory academic progress. Students with the greatest financial need and strong ties to the Eastern Shore of Maryland will be given priority consideration in the awarding of the scholarship. Awards are $2,000.
