Three Lower Counties Community Services, Inc. (TLC) is proud to announce our 3rd Annual Golf Tournament to raise money for OB/GYN Capital Building Project. The tournament will take place on Friday, August 12th, 2016 at Ocean City Yacht & Country Club. Registration opens at 8am and tee-off will begin at 9am. The tournament will cost $800.00 per team and includes a putting contest, long drive contest, closest to the pin contest, logo gift, beverages on the course, and lunch served immediately following the tournament. TLC is a 501(c)(3) private, non-profit organization who provides healthcare services for the citizens of Wicomico, Worcester, and Somerset Counties. Founded in 1994 as a Community Health Center with primary care and dental services, TLC currently provides multi-disciplinary care to the Lower Eastern Shore, as well as providing care to the migrant and seasonal farmworker populations. Currently TLC serves 44,552 individuals in the 2015 calendar year. Our Medical Departments have provided more than 250,000 visits and our Dental Department provided over 21,000 visits to patients last year.
Our patient payer mix consists of 38.44% Commercial Insurance 11.97% Medicare, 41.07% Medicaid, and 8.51% Self-Pay. We employ over 375 employees today, increased from 26 in 1994.
